As a US citizen I am appalled that the Port Authority refuses to work with ICE! Sorry we have laws that all citizens must follow. We have an obligation as Americans to work together with our government not against it for everyone’s good! I just don’t understand that illegally entering our country is a crime that some Americans accept! Every country has the right and yes obligation to protect its borders! If people want asylum or entrance there are procedures that must be followed! I’m not against legal immigration just illegal immigrants breaking laws to enter our country! As a mother I presume you teach your children to follow the laws and we teach by example! As a former teacher I know we need rules to ensure proper safety and rights of all our citizens!
